Scholarships to Attend the ATRA Conference - Apply today

Peg Connolly Scholarship: Hey, students! We're excited to announce that it's time to apply for the 2024 Peg Connolly Scholarship for recreational therapy students! Attending an ATRA annual conference is an incredible opportunity and #ACON24 (October 12-15 in Kansas City, MO) is going to be unforgettable! The Peg Connolly Scholarship is available to undergraduate, graduate and PhD members of ATRA who are enrolled in a recreational therapy program during the conference year. Scholarships include conference registration, accommodations, and a meal stipend ($100). This scholarship is a “working scholarship”. Students assist in various aspects of implementing the conference such as room hosting, registration and monitoring social events.

Martha Judge First Time Attendee Scholarship: Will #ACON24 be your first in-person ATRA conference? We're excited to announce that it's time to apply for the 2024 Martha Judge Scholarship for First-Time Conference Attendees! Attending an ATRA Annual Conference is an incredible opportunity and ACON24 (October 12-15 in Kansas City, MO) is going to be unforgettable!

The Martha Judge Scholarship offers financial support to students and current professionals who might not otherwise be able to attend ACON24. Scholarships up to $500 will be awarded to help cover the costs associated with attending the conference. This is a “working scholarship” where recipients will assist in various aspects of implementing the conference such as room hosting, registration, and monitoring social events.
