Abstract

It is not often that a topical issue in emergency management touches so many heartstrings across so many stakeholders. Our special issue, Leave Nobody Behind: Emergency Management in a More Inclusive Way, looks at often forgotten, unserved, and underserved communities. These special populations are all around us and as we seek to set up more comprehensive and compassionate emergency preparedness and response, we must not overlook their special needs.
